After the five weeks of registration for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has registered a total 1,985,642 candidates, TEAM PLATO gathered. JAMB, which disclosed this in its weekly bulletin released on Monday, said the registration, which began on 15 January, and successfully concluded February 26.About 1.9 million candidates are expected to take part in the annual computer-based test used to rank admission seekers into Nigerian universities, TEAM PLATO reliably gathered.Breakdown;According to the breakdown provided by JAMB, Oyo topped the list with 123,636 candidates; Ogun State, with 114, 435 candidates, while the Osun with 110,854 candidates.The total number of Male applicants is 960, 419, while female applicants are 1,005, 223, and PLWDS are 2,026.
