Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery has extended the sale of Basic Midwifery Form with four weeks after the initial deadline of 20th March, 2024. This was made known by the Provost of the College Dr Gbonjubola Owolabi.

She emphasized that the main aim of the extension is to create more time for prospective students who might still be interested in obtaining the form.

The Provost stated further that the Computer Based Test (CBT) is now scheduled to hold on the 22nd- 24th of April while the interview date is slated for 2nd and 3rd May, 2024.

She reiterated that the public should not provide personal or financial information to any unofficial source claiming to be associated with the College because she would never request for sensitive information through unofficial channels.

The provost charged interested candidates to take advantage of the extended period and visit office of the Registrar or ICT center of the College for further enquiry.

She said “admission into Basic Nursing is now through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and noted that the College will not compromise her standard as admission would strictly be based on merit. Post UTME form would be available at the College after the release of result for those who attained the cut off mark of 200 and above in their exam”.

She added that admission process into Community Nursing and Community Midwifery program has commenced and candidates for the program will be shortlisted from their Local Government Areas.

She commended His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde for paying full fees of all the candidates that would be recommended for the program from all the Thirty- three (33) Local Government Areas and LCDAs.
