The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, on Monday released the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME results.

The Registrar of JAMB, Prof Ishaq Oloyede, made the announcement in a press conference in Abjua.

He said a total of 1,989,668 candidates registered for the examination, representing 24.7 per cent higher than the figure for the year 2023.

The Registrar noted that of the 1,989,668 registered, 1,904,189 were present and verified, 2,899 were present but unverified and 80,810 were absent.Below is how to check the results using SMS or JAMB official portal.How to check via phone number.

Candidates can easily check their overall Jamb score using the phone number they used to register for the examination.

Those using this process are urged to send an SMS with the phone number used to register your JAMB 55019 or 66019 to see their results.

The candidates are urged to ensure that they have a minimum airtime balance of N50 and then type ‘UTME RESULT‘ or ‘UTMERESULT‘ and send to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number.

– Input your JAMB Registration Number or email address.

-Click on “Check My Result” or similar button.
