LASU senate appoints new DVC, Academics 

The senate of the Lagos State University, LASU has appointed Professor Oseni Taiwo Afisi has the new Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics.

TEAM PLATO reports reliably gathered that Professor Taiwo Afisi, who is a lecturer in the department of Philosophy, defeated his opponent, Professor Maruf Suraqat Animashaun 198 votes to 2 votes, an election which was conducted on Monday 27th of January 2025.
