STRIKE: UNIVERSITY OF JOS (UNIJOS) REVERSES DECISION,RESUMES ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES 

The information available to the VPN newsroom indicates that the academic staff Union of universities,(ASUU) university of Jos, chapter today reversed the earlier stay at home order initiated by its congress over amputated salaries.

Recall that the academic staff Union of universities,University jos chapter on Friday 4th November 2022, ordered it’s members to stay at home indefinitely, pending the payment of withheld salaries by federal government. The ASUU branch made this known in a statement made available to our corespondents and signed by the branch chairperson, professor Lazarus maigoro.

With this new development, students of the university of Jos will be resuming lectures immediately . however ,the congress took decision in the interest of her students despite non-payment of outstanding salaries.
