BORNO STATE UNIVERSITY WELCOMES NUC ACCREDITATION PANEL 

The accreditation panel from the National Universities Commission (NUC) Abuja, has arrived BOSU to conduct accreditation exercise for the Department of Education Economics.

Leader of the team Professor Titus Umaru, of the Federal University Lokoja applauded the warm reception accorded them by the university management. He said that they are in BOSU to carry out a national assignment to ensure quality assurance in the university.He therefore said, they will perform their duty diligently, objectively and passionately.

Professor Titus commended the VC for receiving them even on a weekend and for accepting to have the assignment conducted and hoped that the Department will present all they needed to perform their assignment.In his response, Vice-Chancellor BOSU Professor Babagana Gutti who welcomed the panel thanked them for accepting the challenge to come over despite negative security stories and reports about Maiduguri.

Professor Gutti said accreditation is very important to the University and even though he is just 6 weeks old as Vice-Chancellor, he will do his best to see that the University Excell.

The VC assured the team of his support and cooperation as well as that of the Dean and staff of the Department towards success of their assignment.
