This is to inform the students of Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), that the Management of the institution has declared a week break for her students. Students are advised to wait for an official memo from the registrar for the confirmation.

No Academic Activities; VC to Address Students by 2pm today at the Main Auditorium
According to the information gotten from the Students’ Union Public relation officer, Omofoye Adetola, the students’ leaders met with the Vice Chancellor yesterday at around 2pm.
Consequently, after several discussions, it was agreed that the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kayode Soremekun will meet with the students at the Main Auditorium by 2pm today.
Therein, other conclusions reached will be relayed to the students.
As things stand, academic activities are stalled on campus….

The VC said they will conclude on Thursday’s meeting with the University Senate if it will be 2 weeks or 1 week…
