FUTA bans the use of earpieces on campus (Read why?) 

The Federal University of Technology, Akure recently released a circular from the office of the Dean of students affairs in the school warning students to desist from using Earpieces Within the school community..

This announcement was released after the protest of FUTA students of one of their colleague being killed by a vehicle.

The school authorities mentioned in the circular that the misuse of Earpieces, as well as other telecommunication gadgets in the Walkway and on roads has an adverse effect on students as well as the FUTA Community hence safety measure need to be taken.
