JAMB REJECTS CANDIDATES CHANGE OF COURSE/INSTITUTION FOR BYPASSING OTP DURING PROCESS OF THE CHANGE 

JAMB have reversed candidates change of courses or change of institution done by aspirants for not using the one- time password (OTP) code made compulsory by JAMB.

On this note, all aspirants that have done change of course or institution before are advised to check their JAMB CAPS again to confirm if the new courses or institution they changed to is still showing or not(if only you did it about 2 weeks ago).

But if you change was done within two weeks ago,then ignore this post because it is not for you…
Rather the change you applied for in the JAMB portal would take about two weeks to reflect in your JAMB CAPS…

To confirm if the new change of course or institution you made has started showing in your JAMB CAPS do the following:

NOTE: USE GOOGLE CHROME
Make sure you switch the Google chrome to desktop mode ✍️

🔖Click here https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility../# to login

🔖 Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.

🔖Then click on Admission Status

🔖You should then type in your JAMB registration number.

🔖 Click on ACCESS MY CAPS,after clicking on it the page would be blank but check on the left hand side of the page for options…

Then check on the left hand side of the page to see the option “admission status”…
Click on it to check whether your new change of course/institution has reflected…

NOTE You won’t see those options at the left hand side of that page if you aren’t using GOOGLE CHROME and if it isn’t in desktop mode…

If it did not show the course or institution you recently changed to it means you you are among those aspirants JAMB reversed or did not approve their change of course/institution because the OTP code for the change of course or institution was not used.

SOLUTION: Aspirants that fall into the above category should not worry, all you need to do is to take your change of course or institution slip and the phone number you used during JAMB registration and go to any JAMB office or JAMB accredited CBT center where you previously did the change of course/institution before where they will help you do the change of course or institution again using OTP.

NB: You will not have to pay for another change of course or institution again.

NOTE:If you did your change within last two weeks, then don’t worry your change would reflect soon…
