We have been receiving series of questions from UTME and Direct Entry candidates that applied to University of Ilorin on how they can upload their O’level results after they have gotten the results. What they should bear in mind on re -uploading and what they should not.
As a matter of fact, your admission may be affected if you didn’t upload your O’level results on JAMB portal. Follow the procedure below to update your JAMB profile now.
How to Upload O’Level Result on JAMB.
Visit an accredited JAMB CBT centre or JAMB office or JAMB registration centre/closest cafe to you.
Ensure you go along with a copy of your O’level result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) as well as the email address you used during the online registration and your JAMB profile code.
Once you get there, request for an upload of your O’level result on JAMB portal.
Things to bear in mind when uploading has been done
- Candidate will receive a response “You have successfully upload your results“
- You’ve the right to access whether your upload is intact or not by clicking on the ADMISSION and CHECK ADMISSION STATUS dashboard and changing your browser to desktop mode, Then after, click O’level results.
- Once your O’level result has been uploaded successfully, It means it has been automatically synchronized to CAPS.
- Whether you see O’level result Examination number or not, It does not matter. The upload has been successfully recorded.
How to check if you O’level results has been uploaded on Jamb CAPS 2019
If you are asking “How can I confirm and upload my WAEC result to JAMB portal?” Here is the guide to help you.
First, you have to scan your WAEC result.
Then open the www.jamb.org.ng portal on your computer or phone.
Log on to your profile by specifying the name and the password used when registering for JAMB.
Upload WAEC results to the opened account by clicking on ‘upload ‘O’ level results” and click on ‘Submit’. After uploading, Be sure you have saved the data on your profile page.

Sir, I used awaiting on jamb portal during the registration period. I uploaded the result shortly after I got it but to my surprise, I didn’t see anything on caps, so I went to CBT center to reupload but I was told that I have uploaded all the necessary document…. Please help me out….
