NUC APPROVES EBONYI STATE UNIVERSITY OF ICT 

The Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, RT. Honourable Francis Ogbonna Nwaifuru, FNIOB, FCAI, GGCEHF,On Thursday,23 January, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission, Prof. Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu, FCVSN, at the Secretariat of the Commission.

The Governor’s visit was to present the Strategic Documents for the Recognition of the new Ebonyi State University of ICT, Science and Technology, Oferekpe, Agbaja, Ebonyi State.

The Executive Secretary (NUC) who welcomed the Governor and his team presented the Certificate of Recognition of the new Ebonyi State University of ICT, Science and Technology Oferekpe Agbaja Izzi Ebonyi State as the 66th State University and 278th University in Nigeria.During the brief ceremony, the Executive Secretary congratulated the Governor and the good people of Ebonyi State for the feat.
