NUC APPROVES NURSING, PUBLIC HEALTH, ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH, OTHERS FOR FUDUTSE 

The National Universities commission (NUC) has approved the commencement of B.Sc Nursing Science, B.Sc Public Health,B.Sc Environmental Health Sciences for the 2023/2024 Academic session.Other programmes also approved by the regulatory body includes: PhD Computer Science, PGD, MSc and PhD Biotechnology, PhD Economics, and signed by Abubakar M. Gire, Ag. Director Academic Planning said the Ag. Executive Secretary has approved the establishment of the full time mode for the above undergraduate and postgraduate programmes effective from 2023/2024 academic session after the successful conduct ofthe last verification exercise by the commission.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed thanked the NUC for the approval, adding that the approved programmes will go a long way to improve the manpower needs of the catchment areas of the universities.
