In line with schools reopening plans, secondary school students in Lagos State are expected to write a compulsory test on Saturday, September 26.
In a circular sent to all secondary school principals, signed by Mr Yekeen Ajenifuja for the Director of Schools Administration, sighted by TheConscience on Thursday, the state government said all students from JSS1 to SS2 must take the test which will be conducted online.
The circular reads: “Please be informed that all students from JSS1- SS2 will take e – test on Saturday 26th September 2020, 10am to evaluate the radio and television lesson program.
“Each student is expected to join the test via a link that I will send to Principals on this platform10 mins before the commencement.of the e-test.
“The e-test is compulsory for all students as directed by HC, hence the need to sensitize all teachers and students
“Flow of link will be from Principals to class teachers who in turn will post the link on students platform 5mins to the test.
“Students are expected to use Android phones and get enough data for the test.”
TheConscience recalls that only JSS 3 and SS2 secondary school students in Lagos state resumed on Monday, September 21 for partial schools reopening.
The new compulsory e-test may not be unconnected with preparations for full schools reopening in Lagos State.
