Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) wishes to invite candidates who applied for admission into the university and have the institution as their first choice, through the year 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry (DE) application to register for aptitude test/screening via the University website www.umyu.edu.ng.
Candidates who applied through the UTME must have scored the minimum cut off mark for the programme they applied for. Details on the approved cut off mark and the admission requirements for each programme can be found on the link https://umyu.edu.ng/approved-cut-off-marks-for-admission-2024-2025-session-utme-jamb-2024/
Please note that only the shortlisted candidates who have satisfied the admission requirements on the mentioned website are to register. In addition, DE candidates are not to appear physically for aptitude test/screening, but would be screened online through their application.
The online registration will commence on Wednesday 21st August, 2024 and will close by the midnight of 13th September, 2024.
Eligible candidates are to upload the following documents on the University’s Post UTME PORTAL from Wednesday 21st August, 2024.
- JAMB Result Slip of the year 2024 for UTME candidates or JAMB Registration Slip of the year 2024 in the case of DE candidates;
- O’ Level Result(s);
- Form of identification (Indigene Letter/National Identification Card/International Passport etc);
- Direct Entry (DE) Candidates are to also upload their ‘A’ Level Result (Diploma, IJMB, NCE etc).
Please note that candidates who are awaiting results can also apply.
MODE OF PAYMENT:
Eligible candidates are to pay the sum of N2,000.00 (all charges inclusive) for the aptitude test/screening through the payment options provided on the University’s website.
UTME Candidates are to come along with the payment slip for the aptitude test and would be required to submit hard copies of their credentials at the venue of the test. Upon registration, the date of the aptitude test would be indicated on the registration slip and candidates are advised to be checking the website for information/update on the test/screening.
Direct entry candidates are also requested to forward hardcopies of their credentials to the office of the Registrar after the online registration.
Please note that those who were recognized by the JAMB as physically challenged candidates are exempted from the Post-UTME aptitude test, but are requested to forward hard copies of their credentials to the office of the Registrar.
