UNILAG Reportedly Reject NECO Results For Admission 

The University of Lagos, UNILAG has allegedly refused to register students who got admission to study in the school with their NECO results.
According to a parent, Asiwaju Tope, his daughter who was admitted to study in UNILAG with her National Examinations Council, NECO, 2019 result was allegedly prevented from registering in school.
He stated that she wrote her JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME with awaiting result and got admitted, only for her to be refused registration with her 2019 NECO result.
He took to his social media page question the “policy”, he wrote;
The bulletin is instructive. It is only silent on Unilag that has a policy of not using NECO 2019 O/L for admission. Candidates offered admission by jamb, but with NECO 2019, are refused registration. Jamb come to their rescue please
My daughter wrote as an awaiting result, uploaded her NECO 2019 and jamb gave admission, only for Unilag to tell her she cant be registered cos NECO 2019 is not been used for 2019 admission. What does that mean? Reg no 96492427bd
