The University of Ibadan’s management (UI) has started preparations ahead of the institution’s 2022 convocation ceremony and 74th Foundation Day anniversary in November 2022.
This was made known in a verified broadcast message released by the institution’s convocation committee. The graduating students will be from the undergraduate, Masters, and Ph.D. levels and will be for graduands of the institution’s backlog set, as the current final year students are yet to complete their academic programmes, owing to the eight months strike action embarked upon by Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
It should be noted that the forthcoming convocation will mark the first official assignment of Professor Ayodeji Ogunjuyigbe since his emergence as the new provost of the Postgraduate college.
