Our attention has been drawn to the fact that many candidates could not dichotomize between JAMB minimum cut off marks and Universities cut off mark.
The TEAM PLATO REPORTS outfit has received lot of wrong moves taking by candidates as regards cut off marks.
For clarification, National minimum cut off point is different from Universities cut off points. University of Ibadan and Obafemi Awolowo University, University of Benin, University of Lagos and more will adopt the minimum of 200 for cut off marks. Federal University of Oye Ekiti, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Kwara State University and others would adopt 180 as UTME cut off point.
Information received recently reveals that the University of Ilorin will increase the UTME cut off marks for major courses this year. Though, The UTME minimum cut off mark will still remain.
